I love these gloves…. But

"Hi, I have worn Zone 3 Heat tech gloves for winter sea swimming for 5 years now and wouldn’t want to wear anything else. They are a great addition to my swimming kit. They fit snug and seal well at the wrists and usually keep me toasty warm. I take great good care of my kit and always handle it carefully and wash it well after each use. However, I need to let you know that the seam finish on the gloves this year is poor. My new gloves already have holes between the fingers after wearing only twice. The rubber seal is poor and the seam stitching is poor. I am gentle trying to put them on and take them off but this year’s two pairs are not standing up to general use. They are already letting in water, which is most unpleasant and my hands are getting cold quickly - I can usually rely on on these premium gloves to keep me warm all winter. Previous pairs have lasted 2-3years before needing repairs. These were letting in water after wearing only twice and will need to be repaired now after only one month of wear."

Neoprene Heat-Tech Warmth Swim Gloves

"Fits well and are very comfortable. Not worn in open sea until temperatures dips over the next few weeks, but have tested them in an unheated pool and they kept my hands nice and warm."

Good fit. Easy on and

"Good fit. Easy on and off. Super warm for winter dips. Easy to swim with them."

Stay warm, but fall apart easily

"Wore these a couple of times in February, then in April a few times. Put them away for the summer, put them on and they are coming apart at the seams between the fingers and around the wrist, and let in all the cold water. Have been kept away from heat and rinsed and air-dried thoroughly after each each use, but have fallen apart at under 10 uses. Before falling apart, they did keep my hands very warm. Would not recommend due to their short shelf-life."

Glove up!

"Excellent. Just what I needed for the cold water. Well made and surprisingly comfortable"

— Niall C. (4/5)

Just had my first dip

"Just had my first dip in my new Neoprene Heat-Tech Warmth Swim suit and I’m grinning ear to ear! The water was chilly but I stayed toasty the whole time—felt like a cosy hug while I splashed around. It’s super comfy and let me move easily, so I could just enjoy the swim without fuss. Can’t wait to get back out there again tomorrow!"

Q&A

What can you advise me about my size? My wrist to finger tip is 18,5 cm (or max 19 cm is I stretch) and my palm width is about 8 cm, maybe 3 mm more. I have bought S. I read a lot about people find it hard to get the gloves on, but I can put them on with just a little wiggle. When dry, they are quite tight. I have small wrists, but I can imagine them to be a bit too tight around the wrists and the hand when wearing them longer. I haven't tried them in the water tho (so I can return them). Now I wonder if M is a better size for me. is S too tight of will they loosen up in water/ after use? Will M be to big to keep my hands warm? I swim in water that can reach around 4 degrees C. I hope you can advise me.

Can you tell.me about the sizing for the heat tech gloves. I am female tall with average size handd
Please measure your hand wrist to finger tip, and the width of your palm, and compare these measurements to the size guide displayed against the gloves. If you need any further help please contact hello@zone3.com
Do you recommend wearing the heat tech gloves under or over the end of wetsuit sleeves?
Where possible we'd recommend under the wetsuit to provide a good seal at the wrists
Is there a technique for getting the heat tech gloves on? I bought the same size as I use in the standard gloves but these I struggled getting on and whilst swimming felt like they were cutting off my circulation
Hi Julie, Thank you for your message. I wouldn't say there is a technique as such, no We have received feedback to suggest they come up a little small and it just requires a bit of force to get your hands in. They are designed to be tight, in order to keep water out but it shouldn't be so tight that it cuts off your circulation.
I have Heattech gloves which were brilliant when I get them but I now they let water in very quickly and my hands are cold within ten minutes of entering the sea, why have my gloves lost their heat retention so quick? I also struggle to dry the gloves inside; please can you recommend the best drying process.
Hi Jo, our Customer Service team will be in touch with a more detailed reply to your question. Thanks
